Burnham Market has become a very popular holiday destination and the centre of the village is 5-10 minutes walk from Burnham Breck Campsite. It has a wide range of shops, including a post office/newsagent, butcher, fishmonger, general stores and garage/petrol station which sells wood and other goods as does wonderful Uttings. With Londis, Humble pie and Gurney’s together with locally sourced fruit and vegetables, you can enjoy camping without ever any need to prepare food!

In addition there is a delicatessen (the famous Humble Pie now situated above Guerneys fish shop) , wine shop, gift shops, art galleries, clothes shops, tea shops and estate agents. There are also other popular pubs in Overy Staithe and Burnham Thorpe with excellent pub food. The Hoste in Burnham Market, visited by many celebrities, is a 4 star hotel and friendly pub combined. It is adjacent to St Marys Church in the same Parish as St Margarets. Cash may be obtained at the post office and garage.

There are local Farmers Markets at North Creake and Walsingham. Fakenham (10 miles) has Tesco and Morrisons with many other shops, a Thursday market, a good garden centre, DIY and a cinema. More shopping is available in Kings Lynn (23 miles) and Norwich (35 miles), where there are also good theatres, cinemas and concert venues.Edit
