Wild Camping Pitches (Breck 2 only)
Please read your pre-arrival emails very carefully

  • Pitches to a maximum 5 metres in length measured from the edge of the field towards its centre and 8 metres wide..
  • Social distancing of pitches. There must be 2 metres between your tent pegs and those of your neighbour.
  • One tent and one car only is included in the price of each booking,
  • If you have awnings or add-ons please purchase extras when booking.
  • Pitches are acquired on a first come first served basis on Breck 2 only.
  • Right hand entrance
  • If friends wish to be together, one should come early say 3 pm to stake a claim!
  • It is possible to move during your stay if you wish.
  • Each pitch MUST be booked with the full details of the occupant including car reg.
  • Please don’t book pitches for friends with your own name etc.
  • DO NOT use the ‘book multiple pitches’ option. It will invalidate your booking and money will be returned.
  • No running of engines permitted on site.
  • USB charging on site; mains charging off site e.g. for ventilators
  • Pitches may be reserved for return if going out for the day.
     NB pitch numbers are ‘virtual’ – you will not be asked to move if you extend your stay

Motorhomes (Breck 1 only)

  • Park side on as shown between the posts as shown above around perimeter of field (Breck 1).
  • Left hand entrance to a maximum of 8.5 tons and 8 metres in length maximum. 
  • Pitches are 8 metres wide.
  • No mains hookup. Update your solar charging!
  • No running of engines permitted on site.
  • Pitches may be reserved for return if going out for the day.
  • Classic sized campervans permitted in Breck 2, but not all flat and must book as a tent

Other information

 Portapotty with tent highly recommended for each family. Some pitches are 400 metres from our facilities and there may be Qs. A disposal tank is sited at the entrance with a standpipe for washing cassettes near the entrance. There is no charge for the toilet tent. Most motorhomes and some campervans will have these

Facilities. See photos in amenities. The toilet block is open during August with daily cleaning. The gas fired hot showers open with daily cleaning.

Noise Please be considerate to other campers and avoid all unnecessary noise, especially when returning from Burnham Market in the evening. No music is allowed from speakers, (acoustic guitars are OK ). Please do not make any noise between 10pm and 8 am.

Wardens control the site with the help of remote cameras when not present. They will check leavers are out by 12pm, and welcome new guests around 6pm each day. Arrival time 3pm onwards. Please make sure you have your numbered receipt with you. A mobile number is available after booking for emergency or urgent messages when you are on site. For other questions please email  us

Refunds cannot be made after your booking is accepted, so please take out appropriate holiday insurance to cover cancellation and other eventualities. However unused booking fees can be gift aided to St Margaret’s Church and claimed on your tax return. (See ‘Charitable status’ ). In the event of extreme weather conditions St Margarets church will act as a refuge.

Dogs (max 2) must be tethered or kept on a lead and always under control. They may not be left on site without their owners Owners of constantly barking or aggressive dogs will be asked to leave. All droppings must be bagged at once and the ground washed if necessary

There is a tank for emptying cassettes adjacent to a mains water supply.  Please note there is no electricity or linked facilities on site. Solar phone charging by the showers and a small freezer for 2 cooler blocks only, available in St Margarets Church

NB As we get full e.g. at weekends, you may need to join up short periods by making separate bookings. You will not need to move your tents!
