Portapotty type toilets are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for each family although the loo block will be open and cleaned daily. Disposal tanks for the contents of cassettes are clearly marked with hoses for rinsing. Bag type toilet contents must be taken off site. We want to ensure the health of all our guests during a highly infective pandemic. Be careful not to spill any contents on the ground and use the hand sterilisers or washing facilities after use. These portaloos will prove to be really useful facilities for wild camping off grid for everyone in the future. Also parts of our lovely fields are a long way from the facilities.
Campervans and motorhomes with on board facilities are obviously OK, but we do not have the capacity to empty holding tanks except by prior arrangement and on payment of a £50 charge (our emptying service is £100 a visit).
